Gigi Hadid and her former partner Zayn Malik have embraced parenthood with their daughter, Khai, since her birth.
In April 2020, Us Weekly confirmed that the model was expecting her first child with Malik. Hadid welcomed their baby girl in September 2020.
“Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful,” the singer announced on Twitter, sharing a touching photo of Khai’s tiny hand. “Trying to put into words how I feel right now is nearly impossible.
The love I have for this little human is beyond comprehension. I’m grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will share together.”
Although Hadid and Malik went their separate ways in October 2021, they remain dedicated to co-parenting their daughter amicably.
“I schedule my work for the days when my daughter is with her dad—that’s the time I have,” Hadid shared with NET-A-PORTER in September 2023, explaining how she balances her career and motherhood. “I fit in as many jobs as I can on those days. It can be hectic, but when something matters to me, I make it work.”

In February 2025, Gigi shared a series of photos on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of how she wrapped up 2024. The collection featured snapshots of a trip to New York City with Khai and an outing to see ponies.
