Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have fans eagerly anticipating what’s to come! On Friday, January 17, Blanco, 36, posted a short video on TikTok that teasingly hints at an upcoming musical collaboration with his fiancée, Gomez.
The video was in response to a fan who commented, “Benny please make some new songs for our queen.”
In the brief three-second clip, the music producer opens a door and finds Gomez, 32, seated on a couch with a microphone in front of her. Blanco greets her with a “Hi,” to which Gomez responds with the same greeting, smiling at the camera.
Blanco captioned the post, “replying to @Esme Hermes in case TikTok doesn’t exist next week.”
Fans were quick to express their excitement in the comments, with one fan calling the video “the greatest gift.” Another commented, “benny we luv u spill the tea in the tracks,” while another fan eagerly wrote, “AHHHHHH THIS BETTER BE TRUE.”
Before they began dating, Gomez and Blanco were musical collaborators. Blanco co-produced two songs on Gomez’s 2015 album Revival, “Kill Em with Kindness” and “Same Old Love.”
They also teamed up on the 2019 song “I Can’t Get Enough,” featuring Tainy and J Balvin. In the music video for the track, Gomez and Blanco shared a scene where she was dressed in pajamas and he wore a big teddy bear costume.
The pair’s most recent collaboration was in August 2023 on the song “Single Soon.”
Gomez confirmed her relationship with Blanco in December 2023, leaving a few clues on social media. She posted a photo on her Instagram Story showing herself wearing a special “B” ring on her left ring finger.
Earlier this month, the couple, who got engaged in December, showed their support for first responders during the Los Angeles fires by handing out food. In a video shared on Gomez’s Instagram Stories, they wore masks as they unboxed and placed food items on a table. Gomez captioned the clip, “Grateful for these individuals.”
Blanco also posted a photo on his Instagram Stories showing a van filled with packages of various drinks. He wrote, “thank you so much guys,” tagging brands CELSIUS Energy Drinks, Liquid I.V., Prime, and SuperGoop.
