Pamela Anderson Explains Her Relationship With Tommy Lee After Split

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee do not seem to be on the best of terms at the moment.

During a recent appearance to promote her new movie, The Last Showgirl, Anderson, 57, revealed that her communication with Lee, 62, has lessened in recent years. The topic arose when host Andy Cohen, 56, inquired about the former couple’s two sons.

“Forgive me — is Brandon’s dad Tommy?” Cohen asked, referencing how The Last Showgirl director Gia Coppola connected with Anderson through her eldest son, Brandon Thomas Lee, 28. Anderson and Lee are also parents to Dylan Jagger Lee, 27.

“Both of them are. Same father,” Anderson clarified. When Cohen asked if she and the Mötley Crüe drummer are still “capisce,” she admitted, “I mean, we used to talk a lot more. Not recently, unfortunately, but you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now.”

Anderson added a note of optimism, saying, “My youngest son is engaged, and we’re gonna have grandkids together. It’ll be okay, eventually. It’s just kind of a moment right now.”

Anderson and Lee’s relationship has a storied history. They tied the knot in 1995 following a whirlwind romance, welcoming Brandon in 1996 and Dylan the next year. The couple divorced in 1998 but have reunited and parted ways several times over the years.

Anderson’s marital history includes several high-profile unions. After her divorce from Lee, she married Kid Rock in 2006, though the marriage ended in 2007. She later wed professional poker player Rick Salomon in October 2007.

That marriage was annulled by March 2008, but the two remarried and divorced again in 2014. In 2020, Anderson was widely reported to have married Jon Peters for just 12 days, though she later clarified to The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast that they were never legally married.

In January 2021, Anderson announced her marriage to bodyguard Dan Hayhurst, but by January 2022, a representative confirmed the couple had split.

Lee has been married to comedian Brittany Furlan since February 2019. The couple first connected in 2017 through the celebrity dating app Raya. In January 2023, Anderson mentioned during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show that she and Lee still “text here and there” as co-parents.

While speaking with Cohen, Anderson praised her sons, expressing admiration for their individual accomplishments. She described Brandon as “an amazing person” and “the movie star,” noting his love for business and deal-making. She also highlighted Dylan’s dual talents as a musician and entrepreneur, calling both sons “great.”

Anderson’s latest film, The Last Showgirl, is set to hit theaters on January 10.
