Slayer have just unveiled two additional concerts for 2025, this time headlining a pair of shows in the U.K. alongside Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon, Hatebreed, and Neckbreakker.
The thrash legends’ first headlining performance is set for July 3 at Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, Wales, just three days ahead of the Back to the Beginning concert in Birmingham. Then, on July 6, they’ll take the stage for another headlining show at Finsbury Park in London.
These will be Slayer’s only standalone European performances of the year, marking their first return overseas in six years.
Meanwhile, Back to the Beginning is being billed as a special one-time Black Sabbath reunion, which will also serve as Ozzy Osbourne’s final live performance. The event boasts an impressive lineup of special guests, including Slayer, as well as Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Pantera, Mastodon, Anthrax, and many more.

The band has not performed outside North America since concluding their farewell tour on November 30, 2019, making these upcoming shows an exciting opportunity for metal fans in the U.K. and Europe.
Despite their return to the stage at two U.S. festivals last year and five more scheduled performances in 2025, fans shouldn’t anticipate a full-fledged Slayer comeback. Kerry King, who released his debut solo album From Hell I Rise in 2024, has remained firm in stating that the band has no plans to resume touring or recording.
Instead, fans will have to seize these rare opportunities to see the ‘Big 4’ legends in action. This year, that means the two newly announced U.K. shows, as well as performances on July 11 at a week-long festival in Quebec City, Canada, and on September 18 at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky.
