A renowned rock band is teasing a potential reunion, fueling speculation among fans about the possibility of a tour or new music.
All five members of Radiohead have registered a new limited liability partnership under the name RHEUK25 LLP, as documented by the British Government’s Companies House agency.
This type of LLP serves as a legal business entity, enabling the band to operate beyond the standard constraints of a traditional record label.
As reported by Pitchfork, Thom Yorke and the rest of the band have previously established similar LLPs ahead of announcing tour dates or unveiling new music.
Radiohead took the same approach before launching its most recent album, A Moon Shaped Pool, in 2016, as well as for The King of Limbs, Kid A Mnesia, and their 2007 release, In Rainbows.
However, the LLP could also pave the way for an entirely different endeavor. Yorke has utilized similar legal structures ahead of projects with Atoms for Peace and The Smile—but this time, the partnership includes his fellow Radiohead members: Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Philip Selway, and Ed O’Brien.
Radiohead, which last performed live in 2018, provided another intriguing hint on Friday by resurfacing a rare VHS recording of Yorke delivering an acoustic set from 1995.
It was noted that the release of the 25-minute concert video coincides with the 30th anniversary of The Bends, potentially signaling an album reissue or a commemorative tour.
The Grammy-winning band has earned acclaim for its experimental, alternative sound, crafting influential tracks such as “Creep,” “Fake Plastic Trees,” “Karma Police,” “Paranoid Android,” and “The National Anthem.”
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, the group has also had five of its albums recognized on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
