Oasis Band Reunion

Liam Gallagher Mentions The Band Member Who Won’t Be At The Reunion Tour in Summer

Oasis’ highly anticipated reunion tour is set to kick off this summer, but not every former member will be returning to the stage.

The tour begins on July 4 in Cardiff, Wales. However, ticket sales have already faced controversy, with some fans claiming their purchases were canceled as part of an effort to combat bots.

Addressing the situation, lead singer Liam Gallagher reassured fans that organizers were “trying to do the right thing,” before adding, “get off my case.”

Liam and Noel Gallagher will reunite for the tour after years of feuding that originally led to the band’s breakup. Liam confirmed the reconciliation on X, stating they “hold no grudges” and have “called a truce.”

Despite the reunion, one key member of Oasis’ past will not be making a return—former drummer Alan White.

When a fan inquired about White’s absence, asking, “How come Alan White isn’t on the tour?” Liam simply responded, “Coz he’s not.”

White holds the record as Oasis’ longest-serving drummer. He joined the band in 1995, replacing original drummer Tony McCarroll, and remained until his departure in 2004. Zak Starkey, son of Beatles legend Ringo Starr, later took his place.

Liam’s confirmation that White won’t be involved disappointed some fans, particularly after a recent social media post from White sparked speculation about his return.

Last week, White shared a photo of his bass drum, featuring a Union Jack design that appeared in the music video for ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger.’ The drum was positioned in front of Oasis posters, fueling reunion rumors.

He captioned the image: “29 years Still got the iconic skin.” Fans quickly flooded the comments, urging him to take part in the tour.

One fan suggested, “Use it for the reunion gig.” Another wrote, “Shame it won’t be Alan though.”

A third commented, “For me the best Oasis drummer and should be on the stage come the summer,” while another pleaded, “Alan, please please be part of the reunion.”
