Kanye West has chosen Bully as the title for his next album after witnessing what he described as his 9-year-old son Saint’s aggressive behavior.
During a recent appearance on Justin Laboy’s podcast, The Download, West, 47, recounted the moment that led to the decision. “My son was playing with another kid, and then he kicked him,” West explained. “I asked him, ‘Why did you do that?’ He said, ‘Cause he weak.’ I was like, ‘This man is really a bully, right here.’”
West shares Saint with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, along with daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 7, and son Psalm, 5.
According to West, Saint often plays rough with his peers.

“Saint just kicks everybody and pushes them over,” West joked. His eldest daughter, North, also had an influence on Bully, particularly when it comes to its release date.
“My oldest said, ‘Bring it out in June,’ so we’re gonna do it on [North’s] birthday ‘cause that’s her favorite album so far,” he shared, later expressing excitement over her interest in music.
“I’m just thinking about how insane her album is going to be. Everything I’ve learned, I can pass it down to her so she can become the next frontier.”

North announced in March 2024 that her first album will be titled Elementary School Dropout, a tribute to her father’s iconic College Dropout LP. However, music is just one of her many ambitions.

“I want to be a basketball player and a rapper,” she told i-D magazine in an October 2023 cover story, adding that she also plans to take over Kardashian’s Skims brand one day. “When I was 7, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer.”
North also has an entrepreneurial spirit. “I’m going to do art on the side. When I’m, like, 13, I want to walk dogs to make money to buy art supplies because everything around here is so expensive. So, a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell,” she shared.
While Elementary School Dropout doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, North already has the full support of her mother.
“I thought I was busy before, [but] having to be her momager right now is crazy,” Kardashian, 44, said in the season 6 trailer for Hulu’s The Kardashians. “Ah, I’m Kris Jenner, oh my God, what’s happening?”
Kris Jenner, 69, has famously managed the careers of all her children, including Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner.
