Kanye West is speaking out about his headline-making appearance at the 2025 Grammys red carpet alongside his wife, Bianca Censori.
“Ask me how it felt to beat the Grammys,” West, 47, remarked to photographers before entering a recording studio on Tuesday, February 4, accompanied by Censori, 30, as reported. “We beat the Grammys.”
Echoing his striking red carpet look from earlier in the week, West was clad in an all-black ensemble, sporting dark denim jeans, a black hoodie, and a matching coat.
Censori, on the other hand, kept it casual in a white zip-up jacket, fitted leggings, and silver pumps, styling her hair in a large claw clip. Both accessorized with black sunglasses.
Tuesday’s outing marked the couple’s first public appearance since attending the Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 2.
At the event, Censori made waves when she dramatically removed her black fur coat to reveal a sheer dress that left her entirely exposed. West, meanwhile, kept things understated in a black T-shirt and slacks.

Initial reports suggested that the couple had been escorted out due to Censori’s daring outfit. However, a source later clarified that they exited voluntarily.

“He had credentials and was invited to the red carpet,” the source continued. “He showed up to make a statement and generate buzz—that’s what he does. Afterward, he left for his after-party. He was not kicked out. He never intended to stay for the ceremony.”
West’s song “Carnival,” from his album Vultures 1, was nominated for Best Rap Song but ultimately lost to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”
Speaking on Tuesday, Grammys executive producer Raj Kapoor revealed that West and Censori were never assigned seats inside the venue, explaining that his category was part of the Pre-Telecast ceremony at the Peacock Theater, which takes place before the main event.
“They weren’t nominated for any televised categories, and Kanye wasn’t scheduled as a presenter or performer,” Kapoor stated. “The main seating is reserved for those participating in the broadcast. Every table is numbered, and we track where each artist is seated.”

West and Censori first started dating in January 2023, just two months after West finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5. That same month, it was confirmed that West and Censori had previously held a private wedding ceremony.
